Madrid

The Madrid train bombing wasn’t as important as 9/11 because only 1/15th of the number of people died.

What say you?

Okay, now let’s hear a similar quote from Richard Clarke on Larry King:

Certainly, certainly they are. Few acts of terror or no acts of terror were ever as extraordinary as those of 9/11. You know, if you look at the entire eight years of the Clinton administration, 35 Americans were killed by al Qaeda over eight years. And 3,000 were killed on 9/11. It’s a whole different class than previous acts of terrorism

Get the impression he has a scorecard somewhere?

Give me a fucking break.

he oughta tell that to the families of those 35 victims (why do I think there were more than 35 killed? I’m going to look into this.)

terrorism is terrorism… uh, depending on who’s president???

It’s a damned good thing Bush didn’t say that, otherwise people would give a shit.

Luckily, Clarke is a Bush Critic, and therefore universally accepted as correct.

That is a fundamentally dishonest statement; both attacks were DESIGNED to kill 60,000 people.

Where not talking about intentions, we’re talking about results.

    Thanks for playing.
