The United Nations continued its support of terrorism yesterday.
In a vote in the Security Council, the US vetoed a resolution condemning Israel for the assassination of terror kingpin Hamed Yassin, hero of terrorists around the world.
Of course, the US has been instantly and unanimously condemned for daring to stand up to terrorism, as the United Nations is absolutely mortified that anyone would consider Yassin a terrorist. After all, he’s just a religious leader who loves fuzzy bunny rabbits and whiskers on kittens.
The fact that this had to even come to a vote, that Israel should even be at risk of being condemned by the UN for doing nothing more than killing a terrorist, while the UN wrang its hands and didn’t manage to get anywhere into the condemnation what Yassin was all about, and condeming Hamas’ continuous murder of Israelis, is proof positive that the UN has no interest in doing anything about terrorism. They’re too busy appeasing their arabic member states who think the only issue in the world is Israel’s existence.
I’m proud that the US did not take part in the farce that was this condemnation resolution.
The UN should change its slogan:
“The UN; Making the World Safe for Terrorists.”
