Look, I’m sorry Chapel-Furnace never amounted to anything. I’m sorry that you turned it into a liberal cesspool of Bush Bashing and then whined like a bitch when people stopped writing and commenting. I’m really really sorry you never got the notariety you felt you deserved…

But if you think I’m wicked and unforgiving, then you really need to get out more. Put the socks down and indulge in the real world. If I’m your gold standard for those two qualities, you’re just as clueless as your conspiracy theory pushing “chapelers.” If you can’t take criticism (which you obviously can’t), then move on; you don’t belong in the public arena.

    As an amicable “conspiracy pushing chapeler”, would it be out of line for me to suggest that these little fault lines that run through blogdom might best be investigated elsewhere?

    It’s your blog, and you can do what you want, absolutely…but starting my day by reading about your feud with an “idiotic cunt” and slaps at a site I enjoy is not particularly fun…reminds me too much of my parents fighting .

    Ummm, actually you may suggest it, but believe me when I say it’s falling on deaf ears. He brought it up publicly on someone else’s blog, as he has on Geoffrey’s blog, Andrea’s (now), and even his own, and God knows how many times on here… I think I’ve earned the right to respond publicly.

    As for the conspiracy thing, I was talking about the writers themselves, not the readers; namely Sauceruney, Bsti, and Weirdpixie…

    So often I wonder why the thin-skinned bother blogging at all, let alone allow comments or comment on other blogs.

    This falls in line with the BULLSHIT we’ve all seen of people focusing on grammar, punctuation, spelling, tone, rudeness, sophistication, and style while ignoring facts, analysis, conclusions, reasoning, evidence, and simple logic.

    They see strong language and it seems to blur their vision where they don’t see the insightful message behind the language meant for effect.

    And flame wars are an important aspect of blogdom. It spices up things by revealing our different personalities. It shows that even people with similar philosophies on life can disagree as they usually result when someone you thought you can agree with turns out to disagree with you strongly on some things. You can’ty just dismiss them as idiots or wackos because they used to concur with your opinions and approach to life.

    So, with all that said… please… carry on! ;)

    I certainly didn’t mean for what I said to be insulting–it was merely an observation. I never said I didn’t like the new Vinny, just that he is Different from the Vinny I once knew. It’s really no big deal on my end, I hold no grudge for whatever bad blood occurred. I’ve apologized several times, even when you chose to be insulting. Oh well, at least I tried, but I realize I can do no right by you, since your mind is made up.
    Still gonna visit IT, until you block me. Still gonna say I like Vinny Angry or Gentle. Still gonna send positive thoughts your way, and that you cannot block.

I still come here often to see how you are doing. Go figure.

    Nor is it neccessarily bad to be unforgiving, except maybe when the person you refuse to forgive has taken many steps to make amends, to no avail.
    So it was accurate to say you are unforgiving, is it not? You refuse to forgive me for past discretions, whatever they may be. A couple of insulting words thrown out, we both did it. And it is so inaccurate to say you have a wicked temper? Look at any given post! Like this one for instance.
