Okay, so this week’s update is a bit of a combo of two weeks.
When I got home from my trip out west, after having eaten McDonald’s every morning and other things, I had lost three pounds. It was fun, but I had a feeling it wouldn’t last.
Well, come last Saturday, I hopped on the scale and had put back all of it and moved back up to 301. Over the weekend, despite being active, I put on another pound. Oddly enough, I was having stomach issues around that time.
Once the issues cleared up (Tuesday), I dropped a pound, and I weighed myself again on Wednesday and somehow I had managed to drop 6 pounds over night. Apparently what ever the stomach issue was, it was keeping me bloated and retaining either water, or food, or whatever. The miracle? Weighed myself this morning and I managed to keep all of it off, so it is with great pride that I present this week’s update:
Starting Date: 1/19/04
Starting Weight: 351
Starting BMI: 47
Current Date: 6/12/04
Current Weight: 295
Current BMI: 39
56 Pounds. Holy F’ing crap!
Oh yeah, and you know I feel great about it. Just to help you keep tabs, my goals when I started were:
July 15, 2004: 300
July 15, 2005: 250
December 31, 2005: 200 or as close to it as I could get.
I’d say I’m well on track to hit goal number two before Thanksgiving this year. If I do, I think I’ll have to reassess what the long term goals really are
