While some people are sticking their hands out for money, begging for a few coins, pimping their amazon wishlists, and loading their pages with ads, I’m not doing that.
In fact, I’ve never really asked anything of my readers until now.
On October 17th, 2004, I will be joining thousands of people from the NYC Metro Area in a 30 mile bike ride to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
This is a charity that means a lot to me, as two of my regular readers and a family member have this terrible illness. It’s through the efforts of the National MS society that awareness is raised and independent work toward a cure is funded.
This is a fantastic cause, and an excellent group of people.
But without donations from good people like you, they cannot continue their work.
Please find it in your heart to sponsor me on the MS Ride. Seeing as the ride is 30 miles, I would love it if you could donate a dollar per mile, however any donation given would be tremendously appreciated. Just because the goal says $5,000 doesn’t mean we have to stop there. I’d be perfectly happy being the only rider to raise $1,000,000.

Also, if you could, please include the link to my donation page on your blog, and even e-mail it to your friends. The more hits you get, the better. I want to knock this one out of the park, so to speak.
Thank you very much in advance, and God Bless…
