Okay, I know I’m getting the readers, and I know some of you have supported the ride on October 17th, and I really appreciate that.
Even if you can’t swing a donation or you plan to donate later please link to the post three down about the ride or use one of the banners from the bottom of each post on your site to raise people’s attention to it!
I really appreciate the support I’ve gotten so far, and I need plenty more if I’m going to hit that $5,000 mark.
I’ve dropped money in tip jars for Pizza for the IDF, CD’s for the Troops, Books for the Troops, Kids with heart conditions, the National Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (via Rush Limbaugh’s site when he does his annual pledge drive), and from time to time even dropped some into a tip jar randomly because I like someone.
I’ve even dropped money into sites that I hardly read just to keep them going because it was the right thing to do.
Now I’m asking for your help! Please, don’t leave me hanging!
A special thanks goes out to the people who have donated (I won’t name anyone directly unless you want to identify yourself) and those who have linked my donation page:
Robert K. Brown
The Other Mike S.
Jenn
Sweet n Sassy
Lisa
If I missed you, please let me know.
Also, if anyone would like to donate prizes of some kind for the cause, I would be more than happy to discuss the idea; just hit me on the e-mail address in my sidebar. I’m looking for maybe a blog redesign, Amazon.com gift cards, or anything else you think people might dig.
Thanks in advance, and please give whatever you can and spread the word. The National MS Society is an amazing organization that does amazing work, and they need people like us to support them.
