The stubborn unchanging flip flopper…

Flip:

Dems tug Bush into flip-flop flap (AP)

WASHINGTON – While working relentlessly to portray Democrat John Kerry as a “flip-flopper,” President Bush has his own history of changing his position, from reversals on steel tariffs and nation building to reasons for invading Iraq.

Most recently, Bush did an about-face on whether the proposed new director of national intelligence should have full budget-making powers as the bipartisan Sept. 11 commission recommended. Bush at first indicated no, then last week said yes.

“The guy who is the ultimate flip and flop is this sitting President,” said Democratic Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware.

Flop:

Kerry’s Wife Calls Bush Inflexible

By EMILY FREDRIX, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON – Teresa Heinz Kerry said Monday that President Bush (news – web sites) is unwilling to change, a character flaw that shows “inattention and indifference” rather than strength.

Speaking to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the wife of Democratic Sen. John Kerry (news – web sites) said her husband is a more capable leader who would respond to issues important to Hispanics, something she said the Republican incumbent has not done.

She said of her husband, “His value in understanding complexity and not being afraid to face it and take action and follow through have been a trademark throughout his life.”

Of Bush, the Republican-turned-Democrat said the president “demonstrates he cannot and will not change. The president thinks this shows strength when all it shows is inattention and indifference.”

I guess this shouldn’t surprise me. Most people can’t seem to make up their mind whether Bush is an evil maniacal genius or a bumbling idiot, so it should come as no surprise they can also call him a stubborn unchanging flip flopper.

DNC: Don’t ask our message, we don’t know it yet.

Bush has been speaking out of both sides of his mouth since the beginning. I detect no inconsistency in your citations.

    Don’t be stupid, Steven.

You can’t be talking out of both sides of your mouth and be stubborn and unchanging.

I detect no common sense in your comment.

So it’s impossible to be stubbornly and unchangingly facetious?

Lets say I take a position in my heart. Then I say A, and I say B, maybe even C, but I still believe X in my heart. Nothing anyone says or does changes X. Note that this immutability does not physically prevent me from continuing to say A, B, or C as necessary. Especially if I gain from saying them!

But at least I understand your mindset a little better now.

That is hysterical! I almost spit out my Lemon Passion Cake reading that! And you know how much I love my Lemon Passion Cake…

WTF, dude did you wake up stupid or were you born this way?

I said silly shit like your post once, but it was right after a horse kicked me in the head! Seek medical attention right now!

Wow. I was going to comment on Vin’s post, but I think steven’s comment took the cake!

Vin: Good point, I’ve noticed the same thing myself. Bush is ‘stubborn’ when he doesn’t change and, in the few cases he does, he ‘lied’ or was dishonest. You could paint anyone with that brush.

Steven: Are you aware that your argument is based on the assumption you have psychic mind-reading powers? (I’ve noticed liberals frequently seem to think they have those.)

One only needs to use their mind-reading powers when their basic human intuition is dysfunctional.
Guess the motivation behind the actions taken and ignore the words. According to the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, most people are not intuitive, so that could be the problem in your understanding.
