Wait a minute…

From memory of what I just heard…

Tom Brokaw to John Kerry: Military analysts have studied both yours and the President’s military aptitude tests, and they’ve determined that he has a higher IQ than you do. How do you feel about that?

John Kerry: Well more power to them. I don’t know how they did that because my records aren’t public.

Excuse me?

Your records aren’t public?

That’s odd…

He’s been running around saying he’s released all of his records. There’s no copy of Form 108 on file which would legally release all of his documents (including the citations for his medals and his discharge), and he’s made repeated claims that he’s got all of his records on his site.

So which is it?

Oh, I know. He misspoke…

Do you suppose he meant records of IQ testing specifically, which are presumably confidential?

They were talking about his military aptitude tests, which apparently are not confidential or are and these people had special access to them…

Either way, I find it odd that he’s talking about records that aren’t public after saying all his records are public.

    Balb,
There’s nothing confidential about the aptitude tests that recruits, officer or enlisted, take.

I’ll believe it if you guys say so, because I honestly don’t now. It seems weird that someone’s IQ results wouldn’t be confidential, though.

Anyhow, on that note…have a great election, guys. I’m off to Bonaire to dive to dive for two weeks, and when I come back I expect you to have the world sorted out for me.

    Cheers!
