Have some turkey, watch some football, thank God for everything that matters to you.
Most of all, say a prayer for those of us who couldn’t be here this Thanksgiving. They’re there so you can be here. As you carve the bird, drink the wine, and chit chat with family, don’t forget that.
In fact, if someone in your family is in Iraq or Afghanistan, set an empty place setting for them at your table as a reminder of exactly what you should be thankful for on this day.
