If they didn’t, you wouldn’t find this in the World Tribune:

And this in the AP:
The apparent show of support for Hamas came as leaders of its main rival in the election — the ruling Fatah movement — are pushing to resume peace talks with Israel. Hamas is pledged to Israel’s destruction and opposes negotiations.
Nice. So somewhere along the line, the organization that wants to push Israel into the sea and make one Palestinian state out of land that includes Israel has become an organization that wants peace. And the AP mentions the story from Al Aram… ZERO times.
