Astounding Stupidity

Stupid ass people on the internet and around the blogosphere are saying the United States is only giving 19 cents per person in aid to the countries levelled by the tsunami on Sunday.

How dumb do you have to be to think that that’s all the US has given and forget about the millions of dollars private citizens have given to non-governmental organizations for the purposes of disaster relief?

Pretty damn dumb, I guess.

no matter what we do (and we do a lot), we will never get the credit from certain people. this is insanity, really, and they not worth my anger.

The United States donates the least amount of money per capita GDP than any other country in the world, and this disaster is no different. Please stop watching FOX “news” and try reading a few books.

The USA is damned if they do and damned if they don’t. This disaster is no different. We go out of our way to help liberate people in a country where thousands were murdered a year just for thinking one thing different than it’s dictator, and we are the oppressor. A tragedy happens and we step up to the plate, as broke as we are as a country, with hundreds loosing jobs, hundreds living on the streets, hundreds with health insurance, and trying to take care of our own natural disasters, we step up and help these other countries with money we don’t really have and we are literally slapped in the face for it. It’s like going up to a homeless person that was just hit by a car and lost his two legs, give him money for a doctor, food, and warm clothes and he leans forward and slaps you in the face claiming your generosity is simply not enough. Makes you want to give more, doesn’t it? If we didn’t give anything, we were horrible selfish people. We do give and it’s not enough. We ignore an evil dictator and we are self absorbed. We remove evil dictator and bring freedom to a country that never knew it, and we are tyrants out to occupy land that does not belong to us.

Fuck it. My heart aches for those who have lost their lives, or someone they love have lost their lives. But fuck the UN and their high and mighty self righteousness. The next time they come for help let’s show them what stingy really is.

    Me-off,
You mind taking a break from touching yourself and posting some links to support your slander of fellow Americans? Or are you just another foul-mouthed liberal gloating in your self-loathing?
