Besnard’s committee of French watchmakers and jewellers launched legal action in February against a telephone operator’s advertising campaign in France depicting watches and a grandfather clock tossed in a bin.
Yep. You read that right. Because someone threw a product away in a commercial, the makers of that product (not specifically, just the same kind of product) go nuts and sue.
Imagine applying that to everyone… How many times you think Sekorski would sue Paramount for making movies in which helicopters blow up?
