John Edwards is an idiot.
Here’s why:
The circus of legislative outrage surrounding Terri Schiavo? “We saw the memo that went out to Republican leaders about how they could take political advantage of Terri Schiavo. That’s disgusting. They will pay a price for this in the 2006 and 2008 elections.”
Sure Johnny boy. It was just the Republicans. Somehow it managed to pass overwhelmingly in both houses of the Congress with just Republicans. And all those Republican supporters like Jesse Jackson, Ralph Nader, Nat Hentoff… Those pesky right wingers and their stupid conservative values…
I love it when people mischaracterize things and are just quoted without their idiocy being pointed out.
Then again, this is The New York Magazine, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the DNC…
