The lone Independent in the entire Congress. I mean, DeLay is the leader of all those reds in the House, the boss of the party in charge. That makes him automatically more important, and more likely to be identified by his party affiliation, than the esteemed gentleman from Vermont. Call me crazy, but when the House Majority Leader has ethical issues, I’d say it’s more important and newsworthy than somebody who doesn’t represent either the donkey or the elephant. The lone Independent in the entire Congress.
