And so it starts…

Actual quote and not paraphrased:

“Despite his conservative beliefs, it’s hoped that the Pope will be stronger against sexual abuse than his predecessor, John Paul II.”

-UPN 9 News Moron, 4/19/05

Do you understand what that question says?

That’s the general attitude of the Moron Media toward this Pope and he has not done one thing, made one proclamation, or addressed one church policy concern.

The campaign to destroy the Pope has begun.

Guess losing every election in the last 9 years and now the hopes of a liberal church being dashed really gets to these libs. The more they scream about Benedict, the more I realize it was the best move for the church. As Rush Limbaugh says, when the left screams about something you’re doing, you can be damn sure it’s the right thing to do.

  • Hey, you'll get no argument from me that letting Law even speak at the Papal funeral was a disgrace.

I'd have to agree with Pete from Astoria. Tolerance for sexual abuse was made loud and clear when they allowed Cardinal Law to perform the eulogy at the Pope's funeral. It's mind-boggling -- why would you let a *convicted* sex felon be put on display? It totally says "We're okay with this guy - regardless of what he's been convicted of".

The way I read it is that ìconservative beliefsî are synonymous with tolerance for sexual abuse. I think I know what theyíre trying to say, but I canít believe that even the dimwits at UPN 9 News meant it to come out the way it did. Or did they?
