Let them build them…

Donald Trump has stepped forward to do something the lilly-livered losers in NY have declined to do.

Rebuild the WTC almost identically to how it was built before.

The footprints of the original buildings would be preserved as memorial ground, and the towers, taller and stronger, would be built in different parts of the site.

Brilliant.

Now get the damned thing done.

In 4 years, we’ve done nothing but talk about it. Let’s stop talking, consulting, planning, hemming, hawing, and doing backflips and turn that hole in the ground into something we can be proud of once again. I can think of no better way to tell the fine young men who want the US to crumble under the mighty fist of Allah that we will not be intimidated.

    I heard Trump on Hannity’s radio program. They’re talking about the new towers being either 1 or 5 stories taller than the originals.

    I can’t wait to see it. But I have a suggestion: Trump should turn one of the antennas on the top of each tower into giant hands with a middle fingers extended, pointing East. Oh, and we should also station SAM launchers up there, just for good measure.

    This is almost exactly what I wanted… My ideal would be to rebuild the WTC towers/buildings exactly as they were, only each tower one level higher. The top level would be dedicated to a memorial for all of the people who died in the attack. Simple, understated, and in-your-face, all at once :) .
