Living in NYC, I see plenty of it, and it’s just odd. No place on the planet is more accepting of weird people, but let’s not kid ourselves about what weird is. And when you’re a man, in a fruit hat like Carmen Miranda, and a coconut bra, and your hairy man-ass is hanging out the back of your bikini, please don’t lecture me on your normalcy or how I must accept you as just another guy.

That’s my only point.

My original comment, really, was more for our good host, since it seemed the intent of this post to intimate that this kind of behavior is a fair reflection of “their lifestyle.”

You can no more say that the guy in the photo is a reflection of the homosexual lifestyle than you can hold up a Springer guest as an example of the married heterosexual lifestyle.

When I used to work in SF, I worked with this particularly flamboyant guy. He LIVED Rocky Horror Picture Show. Transexual Transvestite From Transylvania to a tee. The LAST thing this guy wanted was to be considered normal. He craved the spot light and the turned heads and the attention. Most of them that I knew were the same.

BFD. So does Brittney and JLo and any of the other Divas. But they’re straight, so it’s accepted. But which is a bigger harmful influence on our kids?
