Stanley Crouch gets to the bottom of the “Newsweek” riots, and makes a few salient points:
A new study by Manhattan-based Charney Research queried 14 focus groups in Egypt, Morocco and Indonesia, made up largely of college-educated men and women. Apparently, the Muslim attitude toward the United States is so hot that people accept anything they think proves our cruelty, our bigotry against Islam and our imperial intentions.
Much of this, of course, is based in the perception of inordinate Jewish influence on our foreign policy. But the old idea of the Jewish mouse pulling the American bull around by a ring through its nose has been replaced by the belief that, instead of the actual 2%, the Jewish population in the United States is as high as 85%.
So much for a college education.
When it comes to international public opinion, we are often dealing with people who can seem as irrational as the rednecks in the South during the civil rights movement.
Yes we are. And our friends like Newsweek are doing nothing to educate the rest of the world…
That’s what the unbiased Newsweek Japan edition says…

“The Day America Died — The ideal of ‘freedom’ falls to the ground due to Bush continuing in office.”
Isn’t that special? So while the US is on an uphill road trying to fight the ignorance that permeates the rest of the world (and if you define thinking Jews make up 85% of the population as anything but ignorance, you’re off your rocker) we have American-owned enterprises like Newsweek telling the rest of the world that America died.
Stanley Crouch ends with the following:
Our job is to create a reasonable discussion of our differences in perspective. But we have to face up to how hard that may be in countries where the educated elite believe that only 15% of us are not Jews.
Not hard, impossible. Those countries, run by tyrannical despots are never going to listen to a US dialog on the merits of our country’s freedoms and differences because they already have their answers. The Jews control everything, Bush is a puppet of the dreaded NeoCons, he’s equivalent to Hitler in that he killed 6 million muslim children who were out picking olives in Iraq, and Dick Cheney eats kittens for dinner while paying homage to the 85% of the US population that is Jewish.
You know… Come to think of it, that’s about as rational as the american left (led by the folks over at DU) sound at times…
