So I finally did it.
I realized why I wasn’t enjoying this site as much. Turns out, it’s the comments section.
At one time, it was one of the best you could imagine. Lately, however, with people like Sirrios and Pilot, it has become their show. They derail threads, they insult readers… In reality, most comment sections become a crap-slinging fest between normal people and people like them.
So…
Comments are now off. One day, I may change my mind, but I doubt it.
You can still get in touch with me if you want to by using the link in the upper right corner. If you have my IM address, I’m on all day. If you don’t, email me and I’ll get it to you. I just don’t have the patience to be a soapbox for people who don’t have the stones to start their own sites. I’m not paying for a site so Sirrios has a place to vent. I don’t spend money on Bandwidth so Pilot can call people stupid.
All things must come to an end, and now the comments section at IT has also. Maybe one day it’ll return.
We shall see.
