Planned Parenthood and the Abortion Factory

Under a five-year agreement, Planned Parenthood would be able to buy Plan B from Barr at bargain-basement prices, undercut local pharmacies and clear an average $20 profit on each Plan B kit, according to Sedlak.

“No matter how you look at it, Planned Parenthood stands to make a tremendous amount of money off of this pill, which can take the lives of innocent pre-born children between fertilization and implantation,” said Sedlak.

“This organization shamelessly pushes this drug, ignoring its deadly properties, just to advance its agenda and fatten its coffers,” he added

So Planned Parenthood makes a sweetheart deal with Barr which will allow them to get the drug super cheap and make it readily available to all the young folks coming in for counseling. Sounds like a conflict of interest to me. But then again, I don’t think much of anything PP does is ethical anyway.

Should just rename themselves to Planned Abortion and get it over with.

Those figures are astronomical. Troubling to say the least. We seem to be going backward with regards to birth control. Oh that’s right, their profit isn’t in the pill/rubber to prevent you from getting pregnant, it is in the pill to kill the baby you created.

You’re exactly right. And what’s worse is PP is supposed to be an organization that promotes “family planning.” How fair, unbiased, and accurate will their advice be if they start getting into bed with abortion pill manufacturers?

Y’know, the term “planned parenthood” to me has a favorable ring to it. It makes me think of the positive aspects of creating a family. So if I were in this position and I was looking for a place to go for advice/care, I would probably go there, solely based on the name.
However, Planned Parenthood (the organization) has apparently hijacked that term and put an entirely opposite spin on it. It seems lately that all they’re interested in is abortion. Every time PP is mentioned in an article, blog entry, PSA, etc, it’s always about abortion. I can’t remember the last time I heard the name Planned Parenthood in association with birth control, prenatal care, adoption, counseling, the right kind of formula for your baby, how to nurse, etc. What happened to supporting those things? You know, those things that are about “planned” “parenthood”.
You’re right, Vin. They should change their name. If not to Planned Abortion, then maybe to something more fitting like Unwanted Parenthood. Anything other than “Planned Parenthood”, since apparently the only thing they’re actively seeking to plan is the eradication of parenthood.
