More risks…

Yep, the risks just keep on coming for the “risky” movie, Brokeback Mountain…

“Brokeback Mountain,” the film adaptation of Annie Proulx’s story of the enduring but thwarted love between two cowboys won the award for best picture of 2005 from the L.A. Film Critics Association.

Ang LeeAng Lee secured the best director nod for his work on the same picture, a Focus Features release.

The voting split up the honors widely and strongly favored independent fare over major studio releases.

How many delusional morons still think that this movie is a risk for anyone involved?

Not too many, I guess. Were there a lot to start with?

  • Belf!!!

    From Yahoo’s The Insider Online:

HEATH LEDGER is now the most wanted man in Hollywood. And it’s the smart folks at GQ who got into the game early on. They shot the ‘Brokeback Mountain’ star before he snagged a Golden Globe nomination, landing him on the magazine’s February cover. The issue will hit newsstands just in time for the January 16th awards.
