Dirty Deeds… Done by Dirtbags
NEW YORK — Jaromir Jagr won’t play Monday night for the New York Rangers in Game 2 of their series against New Jersey.
But Kevin Weekes will. Rangers coach Tom Renney said Monday that Weekes will start ahead of rookie Henrik Lundqvist, who was in the nets for Saturday’s 6-1 loss.
Jagr is out with an injury to his left arm suffered late in Saturday’s game when he lunged at Devils’ center Scott Gomez. Renney officially called Jagr’s status “questionable at best,” according to the Toronto Globe and Mail.
Petr Sykora will replace Jagr on New York’s top line with center Michael Nylander and left wing Martin Straka.
That’s what you get when you play dirty you rat bastard. Maybe next time you’ll work harder on scoring goals and less on taking cheap shots at other players. I feel bad for Petr Sykora… Coming from a great championship team like the Devils and playing with… Well… Them…
