I Give Up
Really. I give up.
Our idiot-in-chief has done it again…
IRVINE, Calif. - President Bush, rebutting lawmakers advocating a law-and-order approach to immigration, said Monday that those who are calling for massive deportation of the estimated 11 million foreigners living illegally in the United States are not being realistic.
“Massive deportation of the people here is not going to work,” Bush said as a Congress divided over immigration returned from a two-week recess. “It’s just not going to work.”
It’s not going to work because no one in Congress or the Oval Office has the balls to try it. When you never try something you can be utterly assured it will indeed not ever succeed. Screw you, Bush. Screw you and you’re yellow-up-the-back cowardly pandering ass. Thank God this is all over in 2 years and we can give someone with a backbone a chance to do something.

I’m with you BUT I just don’t see anyone else stepping up to the plate yet to hit this easy home run. The DNC has a bunch of cowardly blow-hards and the GOP isn’t fairing much better. Whatever happened to true leadership? Did it go away with objective journalism and I missed the memo?

Except that I didn’t vote for others, I voted for a conservative who I hoped would be for small government, a balanced budget, anti-abortion, and anti illegal immigration.
So far, all I’ve gotten is nothing, and I’m tired of nothing.
I would never expect the DNC to do anything that would hurt their voter base (ie: illegal immigrants), but the RNC is foolish if they think this is helping them. In fact, it’s making me more and more likely to vote for someone else, and I do hope in the end my vote loses them the next election.

Dude… it’s going to get much worse before it gets any better. Good thing you shredded your card awhile back.

Not for nothing dude, but I not only shredded my card, I also send them nastygrams in their panhandling letters’ postage paid envelopes. I think they’re getting the message, though, seeing as the solicitations have pretty much stopped.

What did you expect in politics other than a choice between a giant douche and a turd sandwich? I look at voting as leaning towards the lesser of two evils.
A politician may not get re-elected if he/she takes a stand on issues and is outspoken on what he/she believes. A safe politician is a politician that does nothing.

The only politician I would vote FOR in this entire country is Ron Paul. I can’t do that, ’cause I don’t live in Texas!
In the elections in the forseeable future, I will not vote for anyone with a D or an R after their name. I will vote Libertarian first, Independent second, anything else third. The only way I will vote for a Dem or a Repub is 1)If only Ds and Rs are in a race, I will vote against the incumbent; and 2) If Hillery Clinton is the Dem presidential candidate, I will vote for the Repub.
Enough is enough.
