Well, that sure was easy. The Devils polished off the completely overplayed Rangers in convincing fashion at Madison Square Garden today, 4-2.

There really isn’t much more to say. The Devils have won 15 straight games (they ended the regular season with an 11 game winning streak) and are clearly the hottest team in the NHL right now. The only concern is that since the Rangers never really presented any kind of challenge in this series, they may be a bit rusty come next round.

Only time will tell. Hopefully they can keep this improbable streak together and keep whipping teams like Gunther Gebel Williams whipped tigers for Ringling Brothers.
