Britney Spears Poses Nude

A six-month pregnant Britney Spears has posed nude for the cover of the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine and an accompanying photo spread inside, much in the style of the famous 1991 Vanity Fair cover of a naked and heavily pregnant Demi Moore.

On the Harper’s Bazaar cover, a dark-haired Spears covers her breasts with her arms and crosses her legs at the knee, as she sits smiling into the camera.

Harper’s said pop singer Spears “was never more beautiful” than when it photographed her a week ago and that it was the first time it had printed a nude photo on its cover.

The magazine added, “Since word leaked out about the shoot on Monday, people have been desperate to get their hands on the exclusive photos which were posted on various Web sites without permission from the magazine.”

Hey folks?

Leave Britney alone, okay? And to all the fat house fraus who are baggin’ on Britney, face it. It’s 90% jealousy.

And for those who don't feel like googling, what she said was, ""I think we should just trust our president in every decision he makes."

I say (a) we shouldn't "just trust" *anybody* in every decision they make, (b) especially not a person with great power, and (c) *especially* not a person with Bush's track record. If you have a logical (or even emotional) argument against (a), (b), or (c), fine, nobody's attacking your freedom to express it.

There's a big difference between thinking someone is wrong and denying their freedom of speech. "It's a free country" is not a defense of the merits of a statement. I could say "Well, I was free to say what *I* said about Britney, so there!" And you could say "Well, I was free to defend Britney's right to say whatever, so there!" And that would be a pretty moronic argument.
  • What? What's wrong with saying that? It's a free country for crying out loud. She can say whatever she wants, including "I love Sugar Ray Dodge, he is so funny and damn cute. I think I'll run away with him to wherever it is we'll run away to" or something like that. Totally free to say that!

I agree, it's gorgeous -- beats out Demi Moore on Vanity Fair, I think it was. This was an inevitable point in Britney's career arc, but I give her credit for looking great. Going brunette was absolutely the right move.

Now if only she could smarten up and see why her commenting about always supporting your President was moronic and wrong.
  • That is the damn sexiest picture I have ever seen of a pregnant woman. Too bad she married that flaming homo instead of me. She would have been much happier.
