Dark Room for Windows (via Lifehacker)
Write Room for Mac OS X Universal Binary (via 43 Folders)

I decided to give Dark Room a look since I don’t have a Mac (yet) and I have to say… If you’re all about knocking out a buttload of text, this is the program to use. It eliminates every single distraction (toolbars, tray notifiers, start buttons, etc). As I said, it’s ideal for getting intimate with your words.

Highly recommended and quite impressive. I imagine Write Room is every bit as good. I’ll let you know
