Jodi Applegate gets Punk’d and Throws Tantrum
The Setup: Jodi Applegate had the Neistat Brothers on Good Day New York. They were on to discuss the video they took two years ago of them stealing a bike in NYC and demonstrating how easy it was. They were also scheduled to do a demo to prove their point of how a chain ain’t stoppin’ no bike thief. Well, they decided to play a prank with her while doing their demo that involved a packet of ketchup and an angle grinder.
As Fark always says, hilarity ensued.

The Aftermath:
According to the Neistat brothers, who appeared on Opie and Anthony this week to discuss the video, their cameraman Ariel had his camera confiscated along with his videotape which was not returned. After returning to the air, a flustered Jodie Applegate scolded the Neistats, admonishing them for doing such a horrible prank when children were watching the news.
First of all, it’s summertime. No kids are up at 8 o’clock in the morning.
Second of all, even if they are, they aren’t watching Good Day New York.
Of course, don’t tell that to the hole she was talking to, who insisted that her 4-year-old nephew watches the show everyday.
A 4-year-old.
Watching news.
Daily.
Does anyone believe that little tale?
Anyway, the Neistats made a great point on Opie and Anthony, which is that if they’re so worried about kids, why are they showing dead ones in Lebanon and missiles blowing up buildings, while at the same time talking about murders and rapes while doing the “news?” They rightfully pointed out that Applegate comes off as a self-righteous bore.
The good news, though, for Applegate, is that she’s finally reached the viral video status she’s been trying to achieve since she caught wind of that new thing all the cool kids were playing with, YouTube.
Richard Huff also points out her hypocritical crap.

I saw the whole thing on YouTube about two weeks ago. She’s such a freakin’ tool. I’ve not watched Fox 5 since they got rid of everyone (and CBS picked them up, then dumped them all again) and she’s much of the reason why, with her snarky, “I’m teh shit and you’re not” attitude.
Sorry for swearing.
I really hate this idiot.

Wow. She’s an ass. She might as well have pouted and whined, “You hurt my feelings!”
If you watch the video you can tell it’s obviously a prank.
What a baby!

Worst part is, it was OBVIOUSLY a prank. He never even came close to the grinder. What an ass.
As Richard Huff put it, she finally made it onto YouTube, only not in the way she had hoped.
