DAMMIT.

I had no plans for today except for the Opie and Anthony Traveling Virus tonight, but we all know how plans work out.

Last night, after finishing up the podcast, my desktop (Winders XP) machine croaked. Completely. Today has been spent putting all the stuff that was in that machine onto an external drive so I have it for future use. Tomorrow, I’m buying my new desktop machine, the shiny Mac Mini. It’s more than enough for me and my desk, and all should be right with the world once it’s up and running.

The other good side effect is that I’ll be Windowsless at home. Not exactly a tragedy as far as I’m concerned. I can’t wait to expel Windows in every form (except for the copy running on a virtual machine on my Macbook) from this house.

Anyway, I’m only dropping this line so you folks know what’s going on. I’ll be back on tomorrow night with my new desktop.
