Check this one out. If it doesn’t make you scratch your dome, nothing will…
The family of a student electrocuted by a defective light fixture outside a Brooklyn school is filing a $10 million wrongful-death lawsuit against the city and the Department of Education, the Daily News has learned.
And how did that happen? Well… Let’s see…
Luis Rivera, 17, was killed instantly when he brushed against the light
Ok…
after climbing a 15-foot-high fence
Ummm… Ok…
and squeezing through an opening between the fence and the wall of Public School 217 about 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Oh for God’s sake… Give me a damned break. What the hell was he doing there? This reminds me of the stories where pool owners are sued because some snot-nosed bastard comes into their yard, sneaks into their pool and drowns.
Dammit. I love how every family in this city sees dollar signs when their bastard kid does something wrong. Maybe if he wasn’t trespassing he’d be alive.
Ya think?
