I saw this on our local news the morning of the snowfall.
“Meteorologists” predicted, and the city prepared for snowfall a week before but nothing happened. Then suddenly…..we were unprepared for this storm. Plows and sand trucks weren’t on the ready any more after the first non-storm.
What is both sad and funny is that we had some 34 sledding accidents that day, people sledding on functioning roads or slamming into trees and parked cars. One guy rolled under a semi.
Unprecedented I think.
But I know the street on the video well, and the wife and I predicted this would make the net, but not necessarily Jay Leno.
also funny is pedestrians standing IN THE STREET!
And I forgot to mention that there’s video somewhere of our police sliding around and crashing into cars too.
