I consider myself a passive film geek. There was a time in my younger days (not that I’m old) when I was determined to become the next Robert Rodriguez (him being a fellow Texan and all), but that didn’t work out. Still, I have spent many an hour heavily studying filmmaking, and trying to learn everything I could about the subject.

Mark Steven Johnson, the director of Ghost Rider, is probably a lot like me. The only real difference is that I discovered I wasn’t capable of making a good movie before I got to Hollywood.
