    Actually, my father-in-law has worked in the livestock industry (animal nutrition) for many years, and he says that today’s American pork is amazingly clean and safe. All those parasites (trichinosis, etc.) that used to be a problem are unheard of in the U.S. anymore. Get some pork from an American supermarket, pour Coke over it, and if worms come out of it I’ll eat them. ;-)
