Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about conservation, saving the environment, etc…but these people have their heads on crooked.

If they are that concerned about it all why don’t they campaign where it will do some good? How about asking the hard questions, like why the EPA allows large manufacturing companies to crush older non-running cars to collect smog credits which allow them to delay their own cleanup? How about asking why even though we have fuel that is 85% ethanol (E85) readily available that burns FAR cleaner than gasoline it’s technically illegal to use it in a non-flexfuel vehicle? Could it be because the Big 3 Automakers are on the Board of the National Ethanol Council and the capability to run FlexFuel is a major selling point for their new cars? How about the high school shop kids that built a soybean powered car that burns clean, gets 50MPG, and goes 0-60 in 4 seconds…how come I can’t buy one of those at my local Chevy dealership? Could it be because car companies get such a huge kickback from oil companies that it’s not in their best interest to screw them over? Why do none of these conservationists ask these questions?

How about this: leave the stupid toilet paper crusade alone and start worrying about the things that will make a difference.
