Whether or not you think the mangler in chief is doing the right thing and fighting it the correct way, saying there’s no war on terrorism is as dumb as saying there’s no such thing as global warming. Anyone who believes that we aren’t at war with a group of radical crazy fuckers who would like nothing more than a new Caliphate encompassing the whole world is absolutely ludicrous.

Now, you may be asking yourself… “Why is he bringing up debate video from over a month ago?”

Because apparently Hillary Clinton (woot!), Bill Richardson (another good guy), Barrack Obama (his handlers probably told him he thinks so), and Chris Dodd (ugh) are the only people smart enough to be President, that’s why. You can argue about tactics, strategy, and methodology until you’re blue in the face and it won’t get you anywhere. It’s a discussion worth having and it doesn’t make you more or less patriotic to have it.

The other morons on the stage (John Edwards, Joe Biden, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel) aren’t arguing the tactics employed or the method of fighting it. They’re arguing that it doesn’t exist at all.

Sorry, but that’s flat out fucking stupid.

Now for the reason I bring that up.

Authorities have arrested a former member of Guyana’s parliament and a former cargo worker at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City who allegedly recruited an FBI informant to help blow up jet fuel tanks and a fuel pipeline at the airport, law enforcement officials told ABC News.

In all, four individuals, including the former Guyana parliament member, Abdul Kadir, and Russell Defreitas, a U.S. citizen and native of Guyana who worked as an airport cargo worker, have been charged with conspiring to attack JFK.

Also in custody are Kareem Ibrahim, a citizen of Trinidad held in Trinidad, and Abdel Nur, a citizen of Guyana. The United States is planning to seek their extradition.

According to the criminal complaint, the defendants performed physical surveillance, made video recordings of JFK and its buildings and facilities, located satellite photographs of JFK on the Internet and sought expert advice, financing and explosives.

Nice. It should be noted that these morons didn’t have the capabilities to do what they wanted to, but that being said, when a bunch of Muslims decide they want to blow up fuel tanks at an airport because “Muslims incur the wrath of the world while the Jews get a pass,” it’s time to start wondering if anyone running for President of the United States who doesn’t believe that a war on terrorism even exists is really worthy of holding that office in the first place.

I vote no, and so should anyone with a brain.

This isn’t about how it’s being fought, it’s whether or not it exists. Denying it does is dangerous.
