Give me a break dude. Really. What else have I got? You couldn't remember any and I gave you two that happened within a month of today. I proved my point.

As for being an ambulance chaser, he channeled a dead girl in court. If that isn't a classic ambulance chaser, I don't know what is.

If he was such a "good guy" everyone would've voted for him. As it was, no one did, and it's become pretty clear that, as many have said, he was the albatross around John Kerry's neck.

Okay, that's two. What else have you got? All I can say is, I've watched many of the debates and followed the race for a while and I never got the impression that he was beating it into the audiences in the same way Rudy did with 9/11. Anyways, this whole thing about "chasing ambulances" is ridiculous, you've been watching too much of the Simpsons. Is getting clients compensation for being harmed really that bad? And anyways, he wasn't always rich. You can't put a penalty on success. He worked hard and got his reward for it, what's the problem? I dunno. The guy lost his son, and now the same may happen to his wife. Give him the benefit of the doubt.

You're kidding right?

You never heard him mention it "once"?

Here's his speech in New Hampshire, October 29 2007:

Remarks by Senator John Edwards
St. Anselm's College, Manchester, New Hamphshire
October 29, 2007

Many of you know that I am the son of a mill worker -- that I rose from modest means and have been blessed in so many ways in life. Elizabeth and I have so much to be grateful for.

And all of you know about some of the challenges we have faced in my family. But there came a time, a few months ago, when Elizabeth and I had to decide, in the quiet of a hospital room, after many hours of tests and getting pretty bad news -- what we were going to do with our lives.

And we made our decision. That we were not going to go quietly into the night -- that we were going to stand and fight for what we believe in.

As Elizabeth and I have campaigned across America, I've come to a better understanding of what that decision really meant -- and why we made it.

Or maybe a video from New Hampshire would work better for you.

And that's just the two that come immediately to mind.

As for the part about being poor and uderstanding the poor, you're right. You don't have to be poor to understand the poor. That being said, a guy living in a huge house making millions chasing ambulances probably has very little perspective on poverty.

I don't think it's crap. I'm not poor but I can understand the hardships they face. I'm not black but I can understand the effects of racism. You don't necessarily have to be something in order to understand it. Besides, while he wasn't poor, he was born in a middle-class family and that's generally the audience he reaches out for.

As for his wife, I can't recall ever hearing him once mention it on the campaign except the day it was announced. Elizabeth also appeared on several talk shows but she never brought it up. I think there is enough tragedy that John could have brought up to get sympathy but he didn't.

Any time reach people talk about understanding poor people, I think it's crap.

I have an even bigger problem with him using the "get well" e-mails and his wife's cancer as a campaigning point. The guy is a piece of garbage and I wouldn't be caught dead voting for him.

I don't think John's campaign was all an act. I think the tragedy that befell his wife and son did change him in some way. I believe he genuinely cared about those who are not as well off as he. Just my opinion.
