My cats don't have any weird behaviors... except for Phoebe. You remember the video of her begging? Yes, she still does that - for everything from needing her cat box cleaned out to filling her food bowl to lifting her up to the top of the cat perch where said bowl is located cause she's too lazy to jump up there... She also drinks from the water bowl using her paws. She does not stoop to such a low ghastly uncivilized manner of drinking as putting her face to the bowl of water. No sir, she dips her paws in to the water repeatedly until she has had enough to drink.

Hey Vinnie - do you have a really GREAT recommendation for an electric cat litter box?? We are trying to find one that is reliable, easy to maintain, does not jam and get stuck, and won't scare my cats. My cats aren't on the small side either so it would need to be a good size. *sigh* Littermaid has too many issues from what I've read....

Both of my girls love water, but one of them will only drink it from out of the sink. She won't touch her bowl water.

And don't even get me started on how she rolls around in the sink and covers herself in water.

I thought cats were supposed to hate water?

Yeah dude, my cat is the same way. Every time I change her litter, she rummages in my closet for a a garment -often a t-shirt- and drags it into the litter box. This, obviously, pisses me off since I often end up having to throw away the particular article of clothing.

Since we're talking about cats...

Do your cats (for some reason, I feel like you have more than one) have a fascination with water? Mine drinks more from plant vases and from my own glasses of water (by dipping her paw in the water and then licking her paw) than she gets from her water bowl.

What the fuck's up with that...?
