Bill Richardson Must Be a Racist
I like Bill Richardson. I always have. He’s a good guy with so many qualifications, it’s ridiculous that he hasn’t been a serious contender for President (although you can probably attribute that to the fact that he isn’t a leftwing kook). Yesterday, he endorsed Senator Obama for the presidency…
In his endorsement he said that Obama’s candidacy is a “once in a lifetime opportunity.”
Why? Are there no liberal males that are ever going to run for the office again?
Oh right… It’s the black thing…

Yeah, WTF?! That’s just crazy! What is with people!!!! I’m sorry, is it a requirement that we have a black president? Why not just the best person for the job, regardless of race? I mean, hey, by that logic, isn’t this a once in a lifetime opportunity for electing a female president?
My god, sometimes I feel like I’m living in some sort of alternate world where everyone is crazy and I’m the only sane one (other than Vin, on occassions).

Electing a female president would only further send black people into a depression over their disenfranchisement. I learned that listening to Leo Laporte today.

Stupid stupid people… stupid Americans, stupid democrats, stupid hippies, stupid “pc” people, stupid black people that would feel disenfranchised, stupid, stupid stupid. So next, all the other groups that make up America will be bitching that they don’t get a president?! I think the point is, you can claim disenfranchisement if we don’t let black/latino/non-white people run for office. Maybe if we didn’t let everyone vote, I could see. But this is 2008. The only disenfranchisement is of people’s own making.
Man up, people. Realize that you are only promised “the pursuit of happiness”, not actualy happiness. Nobody is owed anything, and nobody is owed a president based on race or gender. Enough of this “it’s about time” bullshit.
