You’re right, but, to be fair, it goes both ways.

What about the ‘pro-life’ movement? Let’s be honest; this movement is defined by a stance against Americans’ ability to have an abortion. ‘Pro-lifers’ aren’t genuinely pro-life (many are in favor of the death penalty and many supported the war in Iraq -a costly affair, in terms of lives lost). ‘Pro-lifers’ are only sincere about making abortion illegal. Therefore, they should be accurately labeled ‘anti-choice’, not ‘pro-life’.

Well, if you want to take it that far, how about we stop using euphemisms for abortion like “choice?”

Well, again, to be fair, the term ‘pro-choice’ is accurate. People who are ‘pro-choice’ are in favor of allowing abortion as an OPTION. People who are ‘pro-choice’ are NOT, as some ‘pro-lifers’ might have you believe, in favor of the act of abortion. It’s not as if ‘pro-choice’ people enjoy abortions…

‘Pro-choicers’ want it to be allowed to happen. They don’t want to mandate that it happens.

I, on the other hand, am in favor of abortions. I don’t know what I’d do with myself if it was illegal…

So is pro-abortion. You either want abortion to exist, or you don’t. People who say they’re “pro choice because they want it to be available for others” are essentially saying they are, in fact, pro-abortion.

Sure, but the term ‘pro-abortion’ is potentially (and likely to happen) misleading. ‘Pro-choice’, on the other hand, is much more concise.

Isn’t that the entire concept of your video?
