Which is why I love Web 2.0 and the power it gives the individual. Google and web reviews are powerful, and many business just don’t seem to care about about their online reputation or presence. No amount of radio / TV advertising can counter someone simply typing their name in Google and finding your story and the Consumerist’s follow to it.

Sure competitors and jerks can write bad reviews and opinions for the sake of just being malicious – but savvy people know the BS from the legit stuff. overall I can’t think of anything I appreciate the net for more.

When I read well written opinions, positive or negative, about a company it definitely sways my decision on whether or not I’ll be doing business with them.
