“We Have To Do Something,” He Said

Nine months ago, Representative Zach Wamp (R. Never-Never Land) stood on the floor of the house and gave an impassioned speech. After turning down the first “stimulus” bill, he implored his colleagues to pass the second.

Let’s see what this moron and his moron colleagues accomplished with their hands over their hearts as they cast their blue-collar vote.

Since October 3, 2008, exactly 9 months ago…

Unemployment has continuously risen, month over month, to a lofty 9.5 percent.

Not too shabby… In fact, that’s one bit of history… 26 years later, that’s the best ever. Nicely done, stimulus bill! Even our illustrious mouth into foot expert, Vice President Joseph Biden, had to admit that the projections that said 9.0 would be a disaster were overly optimistic… Of course, he does say “everyone.” Not “everyone,” Joe. Lots of us knew the House, Senate, President Bush and future President Obama were all full of crap

Straight from the mouth of the man charged with appropriating Stimulus funds overseeing Stimulus fund distribution, VP Joe Biden:

“No one realized how bad the economy was. The projections, in fact, turned out to be worse. But we took the mainstream model as to what we thought — and everyone else thought — the unemployment rate would be.”
“Everyone guessed wrong at the time the estimate was made about what the state of the economy was at the moment this was passed.”

No kidding. Biden was forced to make that embarassing admission Sunday on Meet The Press, when David Gregory began hammering him about the fact that — even with the Stimulus in place — unemployment has now exceeded the level that President Obama warned we could reach if we “did nothing” and failed to pass the Stimulus.

To further the point, here’s where the projections were versus where actual numbers lie (at the time, they didn’t have June’s numbers yet, which only makes the White House’s data even more embarrassingly wrong.

Of course, you can’t blame Obama’s Administration and dopes. Bush’s Administration and dopes are just as culpable. As is the Republican and Democrat leadership in Congress. It’s now 9 months later, to the day, of Zach Wamp’s speech. We, the people now own hundreds of thousands of bad mortgages, more than a few national banks, two car companies, hundreds of pork projects including a million dollars to refurbish a runway that 4 flights a day use.

You know how you can tell the stimulus bill sucked?

Representative Zach Wamp, who bragged about the bill and how he was going to put his hand over his heart and vote for it, does not even mention it anywhere on his web site. Not a word to be found.

We have to do something, all right, starting with voting your dumb ass out of office.

Democrats-Republicans all seems to be one party pretending to be two parties. Screw Americans and slap each other on the back behind closed doors. Its time to vote all of them out of office. They are making laws that make it worse, purposely so they can appear to save the day by taking your riches and your rights away.
