More on Brock Lesnar

A comment so good I had to reproduce it to make sure everyone saw it.

I am friends with a couple of “MMA purists” (a term that cracks me up on its own, for various reasons – see: Abbott, Tank) and we go back and forth on Lesnar’s legitimacy as a fighter until someone, usually me, manages to drop the following piece of information…

106 – 5 (56-3 at BJC, 50-2 at Minn)

This is Brock Lesnar’s NCAA/NJCAA combined record in four years of college, including his 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Championship.

Any “MMA purist” who decides to keep riding the “Lesnar is not a legit athlete/fighter” train after being educated on his very real, very legit pedigree is merely a flat-out dope. Or just a jagoff. Either way.

Kudos to Dave Johnston for pointing out something I missed in my prior piece.

    People think that Broc is like a Kimbo Slice. But the main difference is that Broc has more skill and training which actually makes him way better than slice. Kimbo I feel gave up that last fight where he lost in a few seconds. Broc wont go out like that.
