For years, they were the butt of Letterman’s jokes for their infidelity. For years he made jokes, one-liners, monologues, and top-ten lists. They were his crutch when he had nothing else to joke about and his cheap laugh from his sycophantic crowd who lost track of the fact that Dave hasn’t been funny in roughly 15 years.
Well now Mr. Stone Thrower has exposed his glass house for the world to see.
I don’t condone extortion, but nothing gives me greater joy than washing this piece of garbage who made a career crapping on other people and their failings fall right flat on his own and succumbing to the same thing he would’ve used as fodder on his own show.
I’ve taken great pleasure in watching him have to come clean and admit he’s just as much of a scumbag as the people he’s been deriding for years.
When you build your career on making light of the failure of others, you only open yourself up to having to maintain higher standards for yourself and God help you if you don’t.
