A Good Reason to Head to Morey’s

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Food Network, and one of the best shows on it is definitely Dinner Impossible. After Robert Irvine was dropped from the show for a few seasons, they had Iron Chef Michael Symon doing double-duty as the host of Dinner Impossible and as an Iron Chef. In one of the episodes, he went to Wildwood, New Jersey and had to do his whole menu from food available on the boardwalk; specifically at Morey’s Pier.

Why was that my favorite? Because it introduced me to the wonders of chocolate covered bacon! Ladies and gentlemen… Chocolate + bacon. What could possibly not be amazing about that? Anyway, ever since then I’ve wanted to go down to Wildwood and check things out, particularly at Morey’s Piers which is where Dinner Impossible was shot. They have some of the best and most diverse “boardwalk food” ever, and tons of great rides to enjoy, preferrably before you eat!

If the idea of heading down to Wildwood and seeing some NJ Amusement Rides sounds good to you, this is the time to go! For the spring, Morey’s Piers is running a spring sale with discounts of 35%! Good values for family fan aren’t easy to find in this economy, but Morey’s Piers has you covered and with all the rides, water attractions, the beach, and the boardwalk, you’ll easily be able to spend a whole day there and enjoy the springtime weather.

Oh yeah, and one more thing for the curious: there’s a veil covering something pretty amazing that’s going to be lifted on Memorial Day weekend. Sources say it’s going to be one heck of a ride, so if you’re more of a thrillseeker, they have you covered, too!
