He Should’ve Shot All of Them

A black Long Island homeowner convicted of killing a white teenager during a group confrontation has surrendered to begin his prison term.

John White, 56, was convicted of manslaughter for killing Daniel Cicciaro Jr. in 2006 in front of White’s Miller Place home.

White said his gun went off by accident. He said a mob of white teens showed up in his driveway, spewing racial epithets.

The teens had been feuding with White’s son and believed a false Internet claim that he had threatened to rape a girl they knew.

Authorities said White should have stayed inside and called 911.

I don’t know about you, but if a mob of people showed up on my driveway, I don’t think I’d hesitate much with my trigger finger. White says it was an accident, but I wouldn’t even defend it as such. I’d take my lumps for shooting the pricks trying to intimidate me.

Authorities say he should’ve called 911? Yeah. Right.

    Maybe you should get all of your facts straight! Those boys were INVITED to come to the house NEVER stepped foot on the property (look at the pics the blood was in the rd!) The KIDS were unarmed aswell…. People like you make me sick! John white had 20 god damn min to call the cops and only took less than 3 min to pull the damn trigger… He should spend the rest of his life in jail! He had no right to take the life of another and thank god the appeals court recognizes the fact the HE WAS WRONG AND SENT HIM TO JAIL WHERE HE BELONGS!

    Daniel Cicciaro was shot on White's driveway. I'd call that “on his property.”

    Let me tell you something Vinny!!! Did you sit in that court room for 4 wks straight listening to the facts?….hmmm NO, I dont think you look familiar!! I did and yes my facts are straight do you really think Aaron was scared…. Aaron told Daniel to come there to fight…if he waited until the kids were there to wake his dad then he knew for 20 min that they were coming… he told them to! And his property…. dude technically 12-18 inches the most on the driveway the pool of blood that Daniel laid in as John White walked away leaving him there was in the street! It took atleast 9lbs of pressure to pull that damn trigger and thats NO ACCIDENT! They were not attacking him, nor were they even walking up the driveway.. If they were banging down the door to get in, then yes John Whites actions would be justified but since they were just arguing… his actions were wrong. It couldnt have even been some crazy fight in the front yard… neighbors heard NOTHING so how out of control were the boys acting??? You tell me! and im sure you have had your fair share of arguments with kids when you were in HIGH SCHOOL …. it happens
