Do they serve food at these bars? If so, it's entirely reasonable to bring your kid. I did it two weeks ago. They supplied a highchair.
Even if they don't serve food I don't see a reason why you can't bring a baby into it. It's really up to the bar to decide if they want to allow it (and then it's up to customers to complain if they don't like that policy). But a well kept, smoke free bar is not a dangerous place for a baby. You asked if a mother wants to be the person who brought her baby into a bar. If she wants to meet up with friends and not be stuck at home with the baby then I'm betting that she's fine with it.

You know what Jeff, you're 100% right. Seeing as almost every bar in the entire city serves food in some form or another, it's not a bar, it's a restaurant. And you know what else? Seeing as the only place to go out in this tiny one horse town is a bar, I can totally understand why you'd bring a kid in a stroller to a bar.
What ever happened to the concept of adult enjoyment? I'm sure a crying screaming kid is a hell of a lot of fun for everyone involved, right?
A bar is not a place for kids. Period. It's a place for adults. End of story.

Instant classic. I can just picture the hipsters on a Saturday afternoon – swarming the Slope while forming a wavy sea of vintage tees topped off with a Wayfarer layer.
