The latest non-story getting propped up all over the web? Android grew in the Spring! That’s right, it’s up 4%! Holy shit! Android pwns Apple! It’s over for the iPhone! ANDROID FTW!

Here are the numbers.
Not one tech blog reporting this story stated the obvious.
Of course Apple’s share didn’t grow because people weren’t buying iPhone 3g and iPhone 3gs handsets.
“Right! They were waiting for Android handsets! Android FTW!” *smack*
No stupid, they were waiting for the next iPhone, which they knew was coming out in June.
