Tor me, it's both. For him, he thinks he's doing thing around the house for me because I'm the squeaky wheel he's shutting up by finally doing something I have asked him to do for the sake of our family. But for Joseph, it takes him 1-2 years or longer to do something like fix a hole & I think, for him it goes beyond doing it for anyone really, it just means he's finally stepping outside of his Asperger's safety world at home & he needs to feel a hunble sense of pride about it so he says he's done it for me because honestly thinking of our family in total of 5 scares the crap out of his Asperger's safety zone so he handles us one at a time. Of course I praise him & thank him for his efforts because it truly was emotionally difficult though he'd never admit it.

I have to admit those shows rate right up there with Jerry Springer. Ever catch the episode when they sent a stylish black wife/mom from Atlanta to swap places with a redneck wife/mom from Oklahoma?
