I can agree with that.
One thing that definitely helps keep perspective is actually going to a Third World country and witnessing TRUE poverty. One thing about us, is we call “poor” what many of the really impoverished would call living in luxury. My trips to different parts of the Philippines in my youth was a big wake up call that shook my worldview. If only more “First World” kids could have the same experience, what a different world it would be…
