I think his point is more that if it could fit your workflow, it makes sense to be fully immersed rather than half-assing it. I’m sure he’ll correct me if I’m wrong, though…

Yes, i get his point, i just dont feel it is applicable to me at this time. I have a lot of red tape im tied up in currently, but the are all projects i can feel i can make a good contribution to, so the tape is a pain in the ass but ill live with it.

I think most people’s “privacy concerns” are not as well-founded as they believe them to be (or convinced themselves to be — or drunk the Kool-Aid thinking that they are). It’s like, I don’t really feel concerned — as I’ve been asked of late — that I’m “letting it all hang out there” because *I’m* not really that important as a single individual. It’s funny when I hear people expressing dire warnings and concerns as to what they’re putting out there. It’s like, really? Ultimately, *what* are you putting out there that gives people such trepidations?

I take Vinny’s advice in cases like these: are your privacy settings tight as a drum? Yes? Are you putting your government IDs or other sensitive data out there? No? So what’s the big deal? Why so panicked…

As a media personality (as it Vinny), I’d much rather prefer to be ubiquitous than hidden. For those types of personalities, it’s the only way to break through the clutter.
