A unidentified player then asked Coughlin, “Can we quote you on that, coach?”
“You can quote me on a lot more than that,” responded Big Blue’s head coach.
You did your part? You finished out the season with a specatcular collapse, an embarrassing loss, and a meaningless win, all of which solidified your ejection from playoff contention and that’s was “your part?”
I’m not jumping on the “Fire Coughlin” bandwagon; he’s not their problem, but man, that comment just rings as complete crap.
